Dr. Vivek Prakash is an Assistant Professor in Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, School of Automation, Banasthali Vidyapith. His research interests include multiple areas of power systems ranging from frequency regulation, wind & PV generation uncertainty modelling, stochastic optimization, energy storage and demand response modelling for frequency response studies. His current research targets synthetic inertia and primary frequency response provision from wind & PV plant with development of synthetic inertia related market. He has wide experience in teaching Electrical Engineering at undergraduate level.

Research Interest:

Power Systems Frequency Regulation, Wind & PV generation uncertainty modeling, Optimization technique, Energy storage and demand response modeling with large integration of renewable energy sources.
